Biosketch: Dr. Landsbergen earned her MS from Duke's Nicholas School of the Environment (1994) and her PhD in Forest Ecosystem Science from the University of Washington (2000).  Following a post-doctoral fellowship at Columbia's Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, she was on the faculty at Ohio University from 2001-2008.  From 2009 to present she is the founding member and principal scientist at CarbonEcology Consulting LLC based in Columbus Ohio.

Areas of experience and expertise: Forest ecology; climate change biology; whole-plant ecophysiology; simulation modeling of plant growth/water/carbon use; biologic carbon sequestration; biomass plantations; remote sensing of plant canopy structure and productivity; land use interactions with ecosystem function; soils; climate change policy concerning forests and agriculture (REDD; CDM); invasive plant science; institutional assessments of greenhouse gas emissions; sustainability and carbon footprint reduction.
